  Machine Communion.jpg - I found a treasure trove of great imagery over at the NASA/JPL web site (www.nasaimages.org) and spent a lot of time layering planetary surface imagery over "harder" subjects like space technology and test gear. I'm also a life-long science fiction fan, particularly the cyberpunks and post-cyberpunks... This image started to develop into two (robotic?) figures: the upper in a crucificxion pose, the lower (which seems to have wings growing out of its back) looking up in supplication...the title followed quickly from that and then it was a matter of working to create depth and strong colours.
